Human Nothing were from perth WA and shared members with Helta Skelta, Nervous Trend and Self Harm. The band is now defunct but their only recording saw the light of day as a cassette. This really is top shelf post-punk, leaning a little more on the punk side of the fence. Jerky, choppy guitar parts paired with tasteful bass grooves reminiscent of something like Mission of Burma give some of the tracks a bit of an artpunk feel albeit with a moodier affect. Other songs follow a more simplistic garage punk template or venture into Ramones-esque territory, in both cases it's executed well. Drums are tight and precise sounding, and vocals have a reverby monotone delivery reminiscent of Diat or something continental from the 80's
